I saw this story in the Daily Mirror (at least it’s not the the Sun, Daily Star or NOTW!) today and thought “ooh, that’s a good story” so that’s why I’m writing about it.. If you haven’t seen it, Debenhams are leading the way in using un-airbrushed models in their advertising campaigns (starting with their latest swimwear ads), which is good in my opinion. What’s wrong with that woman before? Like.. nothing! Good on Debenhams! ;)

I watched football today.. shocker! I’m not really a sports fan, but I do like a bit of the Olympics and Wimbledon (which starts on Monday, wooo!). The first match was ermmmm, was ermm.. Germany vs. Serbia. I was watching on the red button so I could listen to Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave’s alternative commentary, which I LOVE. If they could do that for every game, I’d love football! It was alright, the commentary made it for me though! Then it was England vs. Algeria which was just awful. 90-minutes I’ll never get back. Thought I’d give them a watch and cheer them on again.. shouldn’t have bothered!
It was also the first Big Brother eviction tonight! “Big Brother house, this is Davina. Please do not swear..” It’s just not the same without “you are live on Channel 4!” Although it isn’t live, it still sounds better! Rachael went went which was a bad choice.. It should have been annoying Sunshine or childish Shabby. Corin was hilarious on tonight’s show though, with her secret task and all that! Also, I hate to say it, but John James was being a right dick.. Why didn’t he just let the thing with Rachael go? He was nice when he came in, eesh! Not keen on the amount of ad breaks and format changes for the interviews either..
I downloaded a load of old TV themes as well today! You all know how much I love TV, but I love TV themes too. I have a big collection and I thought “oop, expansion needed!” Think I got about 60 more today.. Will rename them all tomorrow and stuff. Just a lil’ FYI.. I think my favorite themes are the Question Time theme the Dancing on Ice package, the South Bank Show theme, the most recent package used on ITV’s News At Ten, the current Big Brother and BBC News packages and all of GMTV and Sky News‘ music packages. Woop woop! *geek*
So I was going to do this first ‘general blog’ (couldn’t think of a good title, sucks ttm) on my BlackBerry, but that didn’t exactly go to plan so I’m doing it on the ol’ PC. I’ve not written anything on here for a couple of days, so I’m going to try and do a(n) boring exciting general blog every few days.
I was in a mega moany mood today because I woke up at like.. 6:45, then ended up sleeping in till midday which made me feel uber-tired.. for some reason (I thought it would have done the opposite but nuh-uh). I also had a hurty back and I had to help my Sister with a CV that kept going wrong and Twitter was being a silly silly piece of internet geniusness. Frustrationnn!
